  • SeaShore Picklers Newsletter Browse our archives and join the mailing list.
  • Shoreline Open Play @ Shoreline Park: Saturdays / Sundays / Holidays  8 a.m. to around 1 p.m. While not just for women, this is a welcoming all-levels, all ages open-play event. The paddle-stacking system is used with four players (who may or may not know each other)  rotating on and off the courts after playing a game to 11, win by 2. New players will get some limited informal instruction from other players.

  • Playtime Scheduler A popular tool for scheduling pickleball play. Create a free account to view and sign up for our Friday Round Robin and Queens Court matches.
  • Lessons with Sue Goodwin In addition to organizing Diversity and Inclusion Pickleball events, Sue Goodwin also offers lessons, strategy sessions, and drills clinics for players of all skill levels (beginner to pro).
  • Seattle Metro Pickleball Association (SMPA) A nonprofit organization that advocates for improved pickleball access. SMPA also fundraises for semipermanent nets, and hosts the Seattle Metro Classic in the summer, one of Washington’s biggest outdoor pickleball tournaments, and has recently added a second tournament, the Winter Classic. SeaShore Picklers supports the SMPA!
  • PickleBecks Kate and V Beck, two of the SeaShore Picklers founders, offer queens court and round robin tournaments through their new business, the PickleBecks!
  • A number of private clubs and facilities with indoor courts have opened in the greater Seattle area and more are in the pipeline offering many opportunities for indoor play. Seashore Picklers keeps a list of these here. If you know of a new club or facility that’s not listed, contact info@seashorepicklers and help spread the news.
  • Time For Pickleball A well-maintained, comprehensive list of open play opportunities in the Greater Seattle area.
  • DUPR A system to rate pickleball players based on a complex algorithm of scores, wins, losses, and other factors. SeaShore Picklers uses this tool as one factor for placement in our Ladder League.
  • GameTime Hero Online resource that can be used to find lessons, groups, and meet up with local players.
  • Seattle Parks and other area park departments often offer beginning pickleball classes. Check with your local parks department for these opportunities.

  • Camano Island Open Play CSPA (Camano Stanwood Pickleball Association) offers regularly scheduled Pickleball sessions at the Camano Island Pickleball/Tennis Courts (141 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island, WA).  There is open play Sunday thru Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Sign up on Playtime Scheduler.  Guests are welcome to come and play for a few sessions.
